Transfering back to my orignal high schoool?

i tranfered out of my towns high school into a vocational school after the 1st quarter of my sophmore year. and while i enjoy it here i REALLY regret the decision. i want to go back to my towns school and be with all the friends i grew up with. its almost half way thru my junior year and im not sure if i should go back now , i would be behind in the cles and i would have to take up a diffrent science course . should i go back now ? or wait till my senior year to go back? any advice or personal experiences pleaseeeee! thank u.
