At what age does a member of the SAS/SBS have to leave the regiment?

I understand the latest age a member of the armed forces can apply for UKSF selection is 32. But what age would an individual have to step down from serving on the front line and remain at the headquaters? I have heard it is 45, is this true, surely you could stay on if you were fit enough.
