Blood cult?

I think they go ballistic because of the negative connotation that they themselves have with the word cult. Also, it sounds like "pagan" sacrifice even though I think some of them forget that the Hebrews did animal sacrifice and that Abraham was willing to sacrifice his son until that goat showed up. So calling Christianity a blood cult to them, I think, sounds disrespectful which is ironic since they seem to have no respect for anything that differs from them. They are also the type of people that it's okay for them to be disrespectful of others, but no one can be disrespectful toward them.
