What should I do if I was in an accident with an uninsured Driver?

Okay so i got into a car accident yesterday I was in on-going traffic and this lady turned in front of me and long story short it was to late to stop sooo I called the cops made an accident report... come to find out the lady has no insurance! (and it was made a law in WI last month or so) also since my car is older i only have liability insurance... I 3 estimates of about $3000, now one place told me I had frame damage and that the car was totaled, I guess im seeking advice on what it is that I can do!? Im lost and confused like $3000 isnt that much but hell when I went to drop off the quotes to the lady's house it didn't seem as if she has too much to work with.... should I contact my insurance company? If I do will my rates go up??
