Second pregnancy and loosing my privacy?

I have to agree w/ shorty. If you noticed, nobody really responded b/c I doubt anybody is sensitive to this issue. I have never heard of it before & I'm sure your mother in law hasn't either. It sounds like to me she was just trying to be nice & you are being rude to her. But I don't think that is your fault, I think you might need to seek help. I would do so asap, before the baby comes. Most people like to share in the joy of pregnancy so it was probably hard for her to understand the privacy. I never heard of such a thing.
