About the virgina-tech macre?

I was wondering that myself,he had been evaluated 2 times by psychiatrist so how can he get a gun,he ped background check which meant he was not a felon,think laws should include mentally unstable people as well.i don't think i would have done anything either with a person holding 2 guns,unless it would be from behind.
