Have you ever noticed how much pop went down hill after the 80's?

You have great pop acts like The Turtles or The Lovin' Spoonful in the 60's. In the 70's you have great acts like Elton John and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. In the 80's you have the revolution of Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Stevie Wonder. And then the 90's you have The Backstreet Boys, N'synch and Britney Spears. And In the 00's you have not so great stuff like well I don't think I have to mention it. Why did the general publics taste just diminish in quality.
